Sorab health committee orders action against absent staff and quacks

SORAB: The District Health Committee held an important meeting under the chairmanship of Assistant Commissioner Dr Sanaullah Khan on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Sorab Sahibzada Najeebullah.

The meeting was attended by Medical Superintendent Dr Yousuf Sani, Finance Officer Abdul Malik, Deputy District Health Officer Dr Muhammad Ismail, DC Office Superintendent Fazal Muhammad Qambrani, Drug Inspector Fahad Manzoor, M&E PPHI Jaiend Baloch and PPHI representative Faisal Baloch, along with other officials of the health department.

The meeting reviewed in detail the performance of health centres, the attendance of doctors and staff, and the availability of medicines.

Issuing clear directions, the Assistant Commissioner said strict departmental action would be taken against absent staff. He said action would also be taken without discrimination against quack doctors and unlicensed medical stores across the district.

He said there would be no compromise on public health and the provision of the best medical facilities to the people would be ensured.
