Shahid Rind praises forces for foiling terrorist attack in Gwadar

QUETTA: Shahid Rind, Aide to the Chief Minister of Balochistan for Information and Political Affairs, has praised the security forces for their timely action, professionalism and resolve in foiling an attack by Fitna al-Hindustan on an empty camp of a construction company in Gwadar. Seven terrorists were killed in the operation.

Mr Rind said that foiling the attempt to target the empty camp of the construction company was clear proof of the alertness and professionalism of the security forces.

He said the security personnel who foiled the terrorists’ subversive plan through an effective operation were the pride of the entire nation.

He said the terrorists of Fitna al-Hindustan would never succeed in blocking the province’s development by spreading unrest in Balochistan.

Conspiracies against peace will fail

Those who conspire against the peace, stability and prosperity of Balochistan will face failure on every front.

The Chief Minister’s aide said efforts to spread fear among the people through terrorism and to damage development and economic activity in the province would not be allowed to succeed under any circumstances.

He said the unwavering resolve and professional capabilities of the security forces were a clear message to the terrorists that their evil designs would be foiled at all costs.

Mr Rind said that establishing lasting peace in Balochistan and protecting the lives and property of the people were among the government’s key priorities.

National unity, collective resolve and the continued efforts of the security institutions were essential for the complete elimination of terrorism.

He said the entire nation stood shoulder to shoulder with the security forces in the war against terrorism.

No attempt to sabotage Balochistan’s journey towards development, prosperity and peace would be allowed to succeed, and efforts to make the province peaceful and prosperous would continue.
