Russia says it struck Ukraine’s defence industry and energy sites

According to the Russian Ministry of Defence, Russian forces carried out a large-scale combined attack on various targets in Ukraine. They used high-precision weapons launched from land, sea and air, along with unmanned aerial vehicles.

The ministry said the strikes hit Ukrainian metallurgy and radio-electronics enterprises, the military-industrial complex, and energy and transport infrastructure.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defence, the targets were sites in Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia and the Odesa region.

The ministry further said that ships used for the benefit of the Ukrainian army were also hit in the attacks.
