Flood in Nepal’s Gorkha district sweeps away Syaule Bazaar, damages Jagat Bazaar

According to foreign media, a landslide blocked the flow of a river and caused flooding. Syaule Bazaar was completely washed away. Jagat Bazaar also suffered widespread destruction. The flood waters badly damaged business centres and property in the area.

According to foreign media, no casualties have been reported so far. The damage in the affected areas is being assessed.
