Pakistan stronger today, its defence impregnable: Maryam Nawaz
In a message on Defence Day and the martyrs of Pakistan, she said the Pakistan Army had proved that wars are won not with weapons but with faith and conviction.
Paying tribute to the officers, soldiers, martyrs and veterans of the Pakistan Army, the Punjab Chief Minister said the nation was praying for the safety of its soldiers in the war against terrorism.
Maryam Nawaz also said that the army had set new standards of professional skill in Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad, and that the defence of the beloved homeland was impregnable today.
