Sohail Afridi’s long march has become a ‘short-term march’, says Azma Bokhari

LAHORE (Aitemad Desk): Azma Bokhari has said that the long march of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has turned into a “short-term march”. She said it favours neither the PTI founder nor the Pakhtun people, but terrorist organisations.

In a statement, she said terrorism was taking place in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on one side, while Sohail Afridi had climbed on a container on the other. The whole province was unsafe, she said, but the march strutting on the roads was fully safe.

Azma Bokhari said the senior leadership of the PTI had been taken hostage by a “container-boaster”. She said he stood on a container, mocked the very forces that were laying down their lives to protect the people of the province, and kept a soft corner for terrorists.

She said Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was the province worst affected by terrorism, and the sacrifices of its police and people were unforgettable. According to her, the people of KP themselves were demanding to be rid of the PTI and an incompetent clique. She said that after the public rejected them, videos made with AI were being posted on social media.
