SBP Monetary Policy Committee to hold second meeting of fiscal year today

The Monetary Policy Committee will review the country’s economic situation, inflation trends, interest rates and other key economic indicators at the meeting. It will then decide whether or not to raise the policy rate.

According to the monetary policy calendar issued by the State Bank, the monetary policy statement and related information will be released after the meeting. The committee held its first meeting on 27 July 2026.
